I have met Jack Penate twice in my life. The first time was at the Blue Flowers club in London before he was famous and he looked almost green from stage fright. It was probably a little forward of me but I imparted a trick I learned that says when your nervous it’s because your not breathing deeply enough. So if you start to thinking about your breathing, and deliberately breather slowly you will feel much better. The old pro Jack Penate went out and played a killer show. KILLER!
I always wondered if old Jack Penate ever used that advice again, so when I saw him after a show in Brighton I decided to ask find out. The drunken results of my prodding are below.
